New business centre launched for Soshanguve residents

Local residents who wish to acquire skills in business management can now do so through a newly launched centre.





A centre for Entrepreneurship, Leaderships and Business Management Development (CELBMD) Africa officially launched its classes on Saturday 25 June 2016 at Soshanguve Block R.
The event took place at Grace and Mercy Ministries church.
CELBMD, part of an international organisation, is a non-profit organisation.
The centre will offer short courses in Project Management, Human resources, Community Sustainability Development, Corporate Entrepreneurship, Business Management Development, Financial Management Development, Administrative Assistant and Strategic Management.
At the moment, the centre has only 3 Campuses based in Limpopo, Polokwane and Soshanguve.
Director of CELBMD in South Africa said the centre will provide business minded people with the skills they required to establish their own enterprises.
Project management student, Samuel Moruane said he could not wait for the classes to commence.
Moruane from Liphalala campus in Limpopo said: “In our area there are lot of business opportunities. I decided to study so that I can be able to grab those opportunities.”
Classes will begin on Monday 4 July 2016 at Senthibile Senior Secondary School at Soshanguve Block R.
Lerato Mngomezulu, a resident from Soshanguve Block KK said she had always wanted to start her own business.
“I want to register for business management so that I can make my dream come true,” said excited Mngomezulu.

Chairperson of the centre in South Africa, Thabang Mathe mentioned that as part of giving back to the community, free computer lessons will be offered in the first week of operating.
